Al-Ansar Academy Suleja, is a co-educational, faith-based nursery, primary and secondary school located in

- Head of School
Requirements:
- Minimum of 8 – 10 years’ work experience as a school administrator.
- Minimum qualification of MBA/MSc and BSc.
- PhD, CMD, CIPM, CIPD, SHRM or any related professional qualification would be an added advantage.
- Must have a good knowledge in the use of computer.
- Must have excellent written and communication skills.
- Must possess leadership skills and be able to motivate staff and inspire students.
Job Decriptions
- The Head of School serves as the educational leader, responsible for managing the policies,
regulations, and procedures to ensure that all students are supervised in a safe learning
environment
that meets the approved curricula and mission of the school.
- Achieving academic excellence requires that the Head of School works collaboratively to direct
and
inspire the school community and to communicate effectively with parents. Inherent in the position
are
the responsibilities for scheduling, curriculum development, extracurricular activities, personnel
management, emergency procedures, and facility operations.
- The Head of School must at all times display and practice an accessible and approachable
personality
while interacting with parents, students, and staff. Also, he/she must ensure that the academic
standard of the school is of the highest quality and excellence.

- Assistant Head of
School/Head of Religious Studies Requirements:
Requirements:
- Must have at least six (6) years’ work experience as a teacher in schools where he/she has held some
academic or leadership positions over the years.
- Minimum qualification of MSc/M.Ed.
- A graduate qualification in any of the various branches of Islamic Education is
an added advantage.
- Must have good planning and organizational skills.
- Must have detailed knowledge of child development and learning, health and safety procedures, and
proper record keeping.
- Must be able to work under pressure.
Job Decriptions
The Assistant HoS/HRS shall:
- Be passionate about working with children and embrace the school’s vision and mission.
- Ensure effective delivery of high-quality teaching and maintenance of academic standards.
- Manage the day to day operations of the school, assisting the Head of School.
- Monitor teaching and learning activities to ensure all students are able to make progress in all
areas of learning.
- Maintain a positive and appropriate educational environment, and create a program that meets the
intellectual and emotional needs of all our students.
- Have the responsibility for the implementation of the school policies as approved and directed
by the School.
- Oversee the Tahfiz and Arabic Department according to a timetable which shall be accessible to
supervising staff, teachers and students.
- Prepare work books and notes (Muzakkirat) that might be required.
- Prepare the curriculum breakdown and make same available to teachers.
- Work with the HoS to prepare time-table for all classes.
- Evaluate and appraise staff performance.
- Prepare End of Term and Annual Reports on activities of his/her section and submit to the HoS.
- Actively participate in capacity building programs of Qur’an and Arabic teachers in the Tahfiz
section.
- Ensure that only acceptable Islamic teaching takes place within the school.
- Liaise with the HoS to ensure that all teachers in the section are well motivated and taken care
of.
- Ensure that all students on completion of Primary 5, memorize at least one- third of the Qur’an.

- The job holder must be a Hafiz with vast knowledge in reciting the Qur’an with Tajweed. The job
holder should also be able to communicate fluently orally and in writing using the Arabic language.
- The job holder shall have not less than three (3) years’ work experience as a teacher in a school.
- Having a Qur’an Ijaza will be an added advantage.

- Must be a registered member of Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria.
- Must have a good knowledge in the use of computer.
- He/she shall possess an NCE, graduate qualification in education or a graduate qualification/HND
with a postgraduate diploma in education. The applicant should be able to speak Arabic fluently.
- The job holder shall have not less than three (3) years’ work experience as a teacher in a school.
- A previous experience of teaching in an Arabic speaking country may be an added advantage.

- He/she shall possess a graduate qualification in Accounting and Finance or a related discipline.
- The Accountant shall have not less than five (5) years’ work experience as an Accountant in a school
system.
- Advanced MS Excel skills required.
- Strong attention to details and good analytical skills.
- Hands on experience with accounting software.
Job Decriptions
The Accountant shall:
- Keep custody of all financial records of the school.
- Issue receipts for all funds paid into the school’s account.
- Ensure that all expenses are backed by necessary approvals.
- Prepare monthly, termly and annual budget schedules for the school.
- Responsible for preparing school fee(s) payment tellers.
- Ensure all school fees and other payments are made promptly.
- Prepare monthly payroll.
- Monitor all income and expenditure relating to internal budgets.
- Liaise with banks and other financial institutions on behalf of the School.
- Record, classify and summarize accounting transactions.
- Admin Officer/Secretary
Requirements:
- The job holder shall possess a graduate qualification and a professional qualification in
administration or have years of experience in administrative work.
- Admin Officer should have not less than five (5) years’ work experience in an administrative or
school leadership positions.

- Keep custody of all financial records of the school.
- Drafting of official letters and correspondence.
- Drafting and distributing school bulletins.
- Compiling reports accurately and efficiently.

Requirements:
- He/she shall possess a graduate qualification in Computer Science or Information and Communication
Technology and have up-to date ICT skills/knowledge.
- The ICT Officer shall have not less than three (3) years’ work experience in the field of computing
and ICT especially in a school or IT firm.
- Good programming skills can be an added advantage.
Job Decriptions
The ICT Officer shall:
- Manage the ICT laboratory.
- Manage the school internet and intranet network infrastructure.
- Manage the school PABX telephony and CCTV systems.
- Assist to set up computer systems and equipment to be used during computer classes.
- Assist in teaching during computer lessons.
- Maintain and keep inventory of all computer systems in the school.
- Recommend due processes for the repairs of faulty computer systems.
- Assist in the preparation of teaching aids and worksheets that need to be prepared using
computer
applications.

- School Nurse
The School Nurse will provide clinically effective, high
quality service of
nursing care to students and first aid care to all members of the school community. The School Nurse
supports students’ success by providing health care through assessment, intervention, and follow-up for
all children within the School.
Requirements:

Degree in Nursing or Diploma/Certificate equivalent from an accredited School of Nursing.

- Provide healthcare assistance to students and staff by responding to first aid needs.
- Oversee medication administration, health care procedures, and the development of healthcare
plans.
- Perform health screenings.
- Report health issues to School Management and coordinate referrals to retained doctor and
hospitals to ensure proper treatment for staff and students in the school when necessary.
- Serve as liaison between School Management, family, and hospitals to ensure a healthy school
environment.
- Serve as consultant with other school professionals, such as food service personnel, physical
education teachers, coaches and counsellors.
- Monitor immunizations/vaccinations, managing communicable diseases, and assessing the school
environment as to prevent injury and safety.

- School Caregiver
The ideal candidate will be tasked to work with children, by
caring and supervising them on a daily basis. The job holder will be required to provide services in a
friendly manner and in a way that will help in the overall development of children in their care.
Requirements:

He/she shall:
- Ensure a clean and sanitary classroom and all learning/play facilities are clean at all times.
